I hadn’t heard of Alison Roman before the whole attack on Chrissy and Marie Kondo either, and I was honestly shocked that she chose to:

1. focus on them, because they clearly had done nothing to her
2. call them sell-outs etc. when they are business owners and that is their business — they’re literally just doing business.
3. the fact that they were two Asian women amongst a sea of white women doing the exact same thing, so why focus on them (other than like… racism?)

Anyway, thank you for writing this — so lovely to read.

Side note: hadn’t heard about the whole hillhousevintage thing either and am also shocked about that. I LOVE hillhousevintage!
